It is situated between Florence and Siena (both 28 km, San Gimignano 35 km, Pisa 74 km, Volterra 70 km, Rome 275 km) on the Northern edge (thereby sunschine of South!) of the "Conca d`oro", the golden mussel of Panzano, one of the best vineyards in the Chianti classico, surrounded by oak woods, cypresses, olive groves and vineyards on 17 ha of land in a breathtaking 180 degree - panoramic - position. There are in the surrounding areas is nothing which could disturb your senses.

The villages of Panzano and Greve with shops, supermarket, restaurants, doctors, schools, swimming pool and many more are about 4 or 5 km away. With the public bus you reach from Panzano the center of Florence in 55 minutes. "Ugolino", one of the most beautiful golf - courses in Italy, is in about 35 minutes away.

Our estate, with a very intimate atmophere, is situated on a sunny hill - nose. Its origins lie in 14th Century (around 1390). The former convent, with its simple chapel belonged to the possession of Lisa Gherardini (Mona Lisa), which distinguishes it from her father as dowry San Silvestro got a gift. Her husband, the silk - merchant Francesco del Giocondo reimbursed by Santa Maria Novella in Florence in the year 1495 to the monastery. After careful restoration, with loving details, is a small winery with our beloved northern countries, astringent charm of Tuscany emerged.
